Buckingham Storage Launches New Interactive Website

Richardson, Texas (PRWEB) June 10, 2008

Buckingham Storage, a locally owned and managed public storage unit facility offering climate controlled and non-climate controlled storage solutions, just launched their new content-rich interactive website featuring helpful storage and packing tips, an easy reserve a unit form, and a seven unit size illustrated comparison chart.

Formally apart of the Houston-based storage network Stor-A-Way, this Richardson-based storage facility was recently bought out and renamed Buckingham Storage. Paul Darden, well-known and respected dealmaker in the Dallas storage brokerage, management, and development community purchased the property in April 2008. He started the marketing and branding efforts by renaming the facility for the road on which it is located.

With his years of storage development and storage facility marketing experience, Darden instinctively knew the business needed a web presence to complement their other offline marketing efforts such as postcard offers. Less than a month after ownership changed hands Buckingham Storage contracted the services of a locally owned web design company.

Inovast Concepts, a Dallas-based website design company who has been creating web designs and print collateral for locally known organizations and businesses such as the North Texas Polo Club, Nu Body of Dallas, Quest Logistics, and dozens of others since 1997 designed the site to consistently match Buckingham Storage's brand identity.

"We are very excited about our new state of the art interactive webpage allowing our new customers the ability to reserve and pay for units online," stated Darden about the new storage facility website.

The new website offers Buckingham Storage customers the convenience of paying their monthly rent online, which saves a stamp/envelope or a trip to the site office, and provides yet another small way for the environmentally conscious to "go green." Customers can also set up a "recurring debit" program that will automatically and conveniently charge their debit/credit card each month. The site also offers many valuable space-saving storage tips in order for the customer to get more space for their money.

"Use valuable space inside dresser drawers and larger appliances, such as stoves and refrigerators, to store small items such as towels, linens and small, fragile items. Secure items in drawers by filling empty spaces with towels or packing paper."

The site also offers many little known tips not often considered, but highly important for protecting your property during long periods of storage.

"Pack books flat to protect their spines, pack lamps and lampshades in individual boxes with clean paper or clothing for padding."

On their website Buckingham Storage explains many amenities that nationwide storage chains cannot always offer. Currently Buckingham Storage is the only self-storage facility in Richardson that has a management husband and wife team living on site for its customers' convenience. Having a management team with knowledge of the local area helps answer questions customers may have when facing sometimes unexpected life, residential, and business changes common to those needing long term or temporary storage. Thirdly, knowing someone is on property 24 hours a day provides an extra level of security for stored items and while customers are on property.
